Peak brightness reaches up to 800 nits, allowing for clear visibility even under direct sunlight, while the punch-hole design maximizes screen space and minimizes distractions.

Performance

Under the hood, the Reno 12F 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, built on a 6nm architecture for a balance of power and efficiency. The octa-core processor, combined with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, enables fluid performance across apps, social media, and lightweight gaming. Paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, the phone supports OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology, allowing users to borrow up to 8 GB of storage as virtual RAM. Internal storage stands at 128 GB using UFS 2.2 technology, and users can expand it further via microSD card up to 1 TB. This configuration ensures smooth multitasking and sustained performance even under load.

Camera System

The Reno 12F 4G is equipped with a versatile triple-camera system designed to meet the daily photography needs of most users. Its 64 MP main sensor captures sharp, high-resolution images with natural color tones and good dynamic range. Supporting this is a 2 MP macro lens, allowing for close-up photography of small subjects with a minimum focusing distance of just a few centimeters. Additionally, a 2 MP depth sensor enhances portrait shots by creating a more accurate background blur. On the front, the 32 MP selfie camera provides detailed images and supports AI-driven enhancements like face shaping and skin tone adjustment. The phone records 1080p video at 30fps from both front and rear cameras, with electronic image stabilization to reduce shakiness.

Battery and Charging

A key strength of the Reno 12F 4G is its large 5000 mAh battery, which comfortably delivers a full day of moderate to heavy use. Whether you’re watching videos, gaming, or navigating throughout the day, the battery is optimized to hold up. When it’s time to recharge, OPPO’s 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology brings the battery from 0 to 100% in under 45 minutes. This ensures minimal downtime and adds practicality for users who are always on the move. The phone includes a compatible 67W charger in the box, which is a welcome addition in today’s fast-changing mobile market.

Software and User Experience

Running on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14, the Reno 12F 4G delivers a clean, responsive user experience with thoughtful additions like FlexDrop for multitasking, Smart Sidebar, and enhanced privacy controls. OPPO’s UI is known for its smooth animations and intuitive layout, providing customizability without overwhelming the user. Useful features such as app cloning, RAM expansion controls, and battery health monitoring are available natively within system settings, offering both flexibility and control to the user.
