Logitech G335 Wired Gaming Headset – Detailed Description

The Logitech G335 is a lightweight, wired gaming headset designed for everyday gamers who prioritize comfort, vibrant style, and reliable audio performance and is available at Mobihub Electronics Kenya. As part of Logitech’s Color Collection, it combines aesthetic appeal with essential features for gaming, streaming, and casual use.

1. Design and Comfort

Lightweight Construction

Weighing approximately 240 grams, the G335 is notably lightweight, reducing pressure on the head and neck during extended gaming sessions.

Suspension Headband Design

The headset uses an adjustable suspension headband — a flexible strap across the top that distributes weight evenly. This helps eliminate pressure points and allows for a more comfortable fit over long periods.

Soft Memory Foam Ear Pads

The G335 is equipped with breathable memory foam cushions wrapped in soft fabric. These provide a secure seal around the ears while remaining comfortable and cool even during marathon sessions.

Adjustable Fit

The headband strap is not only flexible but also reversible (depending on color edition) and adjustable. The ear cups slide along the frame for height adjustment to better fit a range of head sizes.

2. Audio Performance

40mm Neodymium Drivers

The headset features 40mm drivers tuned for gaming. These deliver clear, balanced audio with sufficient depth and spatial detail to distinguish game effects, music, and voice chat.

Stereo Sound

The G335 provides stereo output through a 3.5mm connection, offering compatibility with a broad range of devices without reliance on virtual surround processing.

Frequency Response

Typical audio performance includes a response range from approximately 20 Hz to 20 kHz, which is standard for consumer-grade gaming headsets.

3. Microphone Features

Flip-to-Mute Boom Microphone

The built-in boom microphone automatically mutes when flipped upward. This provides a fast, physical way to mute audio during live gameplay or calls without needing to reach for a button.

Unidirectional Mic Pickup

The microphone is tuned to capture speech clearly while minimizing background noise, ensuring effective communication in multiplayer gaming and voice chats.

4. Controls and Usability

On-Ear Controls

A volume roller is located on the back of the left ear cup, enabling quick adjustments without breaking immersion or disrupting gameplay.

Plug-and-Play Functionality

No additional software is required. Simply connect the 3.5mm jack into a compatible device, and the headset is ready to use.

5. Compatibility

The G335 connects via a standard 3.5mm audio jack, making it compatible with:

• PC and Mac computers

• PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5

• Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

• Nintendo Switch (via headphone port)

• Smartphones and tablets with a 3.5mm jack

An included splitter cable allows separate mic and audio connections for devices with individual headphone/microphone ports.

6. Design Variants and Personalization

The G335 is available in multiple color variants (such as black, white, and mint), depending on region and retailer. The headband strap is reversible and, in some models, replaceable — allowing a degree of visual customization.
